The Law of Improv workshops take the principles of improvisation out of the theater and into the places where people actually live and work. Each workshop is shaped around the people in the room, but all are built around the same idea:
when there is no script, how we respond matters.
First responders rarely get to choose what walks through the door, arrives on the radio, or develops in front of them. This workshop uses improvisation to strengthen mental flexibility, situational awareness and the ability to read both the room and ourselves. Participants explore how stress, assumptions and emotion can influence what we see and how we respond, while developing practical ways to stay present, adapt and communicate when circumstances change.

Leadership happens in every direction. From executives and department heads to managers, supervisors and team leaders, the way people communicate shapes the environment around them. This workshop explores how the principles of improv can help leaders create trust, better communication and stronger connections within their teams—and how those internal relationships ultimately affect the people they serve, whether those people are employees, customers, clients or the community.

Communities are built through relationships, and relationships rarely come with a script. This workshop brings the principles of improv to the people who help make communities work—from town government and civic organizations to youth sports, nonprofits and volunteer groups. Participants explore how listening, adaptability, presence and connection can help people with different perspectives work together, navigate difficult conversations and create stronger communities.
